Two New Jersey residents have been charged with kidnapping a man outside a Manhattan club, assaulting him and leaving him in West Orange covered in blood. A third suspect remains at large.

Kenny Fetiere, 26, of West Orange, and Kibret Meles, 28, of Livingston, are among the three men charged, according to prosecutors.

The third suspect, Dani Amanuel, 28, of New York, has not been apprehended.

Prosecutors said the three men lured the victim outside a Midtown Manhattan club and into their vehicle by offering him a ride to his hotel.

They then restrained the victim and drove him through the Lincoln Tunnel into New Jersey, where they stole his Rolex watch and iPhone, prosecutors said. Court documents allege the men struck the victim with their hands and a sharp object before abandoning him in West Orange, bloodied and injured.

The victim was hospitalized for three days and suffered multiple facial fractures, a finger laceration that required stitches and bruising.

“No one should fear being kidnapped off the streets, and we will continue to prioritize cases that threaten the safety of our communities,” FBI Assistant Director in Charge James C. Barnacle Jr. said.

Amanuel, Fetiere and Meles are charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping and kidnapping. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.
