Two people from Bloomfield are missing following catastrophic flash flooding in Nepal and Tibet.

The flood affected multiple villages in the Himalayas.

Bloomfield Mayor Jenny Mundell announced residents of the town were among the thousands missing in a Facebook post on Thursday night.

Mundell also says she spoke to Gov. Mikie Sherrill about supporting families in New Jersey impacted by the tragedy.
