After months of recovery and rebuilding, a beloved Bergen County dining staple is officially back in the kitchen.
Novino, the popular Italian restaurant in Mahwah, announced via social media this week that it has fully reopened for business.
The announcement marks the end of a long hiatus caused by a devastating fire that forced the restaurant to close its doors last fall.
The restaurant sustained significant fire damage late last year, leading to a complete closure of the facility. Since then, the space has undergone extensive renovations to repair the damage and refresh the dining area for returning guests.
While the fire was a major setback, the owners used the time to rebuild and prepare for a grand return to the North Jersey food scene.
Throughout the closure, the Mahwah community rallied behind the local business. In their reopening announcement, the team at Novino expressed deep gratitude for the support that helped sustain them throughout the renovation process.
"We are officially back open and looking forward to serving you again," the restaurant shared in its update.
Local foodies and longtime regulars can now visit during standard business hours to enjoy their favorite Italian dishes once again.
