A bridge in Mercer County is expected to remain shut down for about nine months as crews make major repairs.

Work is underway on the Clarksville Road Bridge, including repairs to the deck and support structure.

Because a railroad runs underneath the bridge, the state says crews need consistent track access from Amtrak to complete the project.
