A 28-year-old motorcyclist from Winslow was killed in a crash with a car in Monroe Township Wednesday afternoon.

Police say a 62-year-old Williamstown man was pulling a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox out of a driveway onto New Brooklyn Road as the motorcyclist approached from the opposite direction.

The Chevrolet entered the motorcyclist’s lane, causing the motorcycle to strike it, police say. The motorcyclist was ejected on impact and pronounced dead at the scene.

The Chevrolet driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The Monroe Township Police Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Frank Paulson at (856) 728-9800, extension 239.
