Two missing geese named Taco and Churro have been safely located and returned to their owner following a multi-agency search effort.

The birds were retrieved through the efforts of the local detective bureau, who tracked down and secured the pair after community members spent days keeping an eye out for them.

Monmouth County SPCA Offices assisted with the operation, transport, and safe return of the birds to their owner.

Officials noted that Taco and Churro were so excited during their journey home that they even left a small mess on the officer pants before safely settling back into their enclosure.
