Preschoolers in Wayne are lending a helping hand to children in need as the new school year gets underway.
Three to 5-year-olds at Primrose School of Wayne collected more than 230 school supplies, including notebooks, folders and pencils.
The donations will benefit CASA of Passaic and Union Counties, an organization that supports children involved in the child welfare system.
The effort gave the young students an opportunity to learn about giving back while helping make sure other children have some of the supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn.
