Hoboken police are cracking down on e-bike violations, issuing more than 180 tickets in just three months, according to the city.

The city said the violations include riding on sidewalks, ignoring traffic signals, skipping stop signs and not wearing safety vests.

Police said e-bikes are a great way to get around the city. But they said riders who do not use them safely will be issued summonses.
