Police are investigating a serious crash on Route 130 in South Brunswick that left one person dead and at least four others injured.
The crash was reported just before 7 a.m. in the area of Melrich Road, Deputy Police Chief James Ryan said.
The incident involves at least three vehicles.
At least one person was killed and four sustained injuries, Ryan confirmed. Their names and conditions have not yet been released.
Ryan told News 12 there will be extensive delays on Route 130 for the next few hours as police continue to investigate. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
