The 2-year-old pitbull mix has been at the shelter since December 2024 after her owner was incarcerated.

It took the shelter nine months of working with her owner for them to surrender her to the shelter.

The shelter says she is an incredibly loving and gentle soul, described as a companion dog, who wants nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with you.

Ivy knows basic commands and is great with children and other dogs.
