New Jersey State Police are asking witnesses to come forward about a Newark crash that killed two people on April 1.
Investigators say the incident began when a box truck traveling east on I-78 veered off the road and struck the concrete barrier.
The vehicle continued traveling eastbound before hitting a light pole and overturning. It then left the roadway, fell from an overpass and landed in a dirt area.
Both the driver and the passenger died as a result of the crash.
State police ask anyone with additional information to call 908-725-0107.
