A fallen tree branch has forced a volunteer ambulance service out of its building in Hillsdale.
Officials say a large branch crashed through the roof of the Hillsdale Volunteer Ambulance Service building on Washington Avenue just after 6 a.m.
The mayor says the branch was likely rotted before it fell.
Two volunteers had just arrived for work and were inside at the time.
Officials say both were startled but were not injured.
A large hole can be seen inside the building, which will now need to be evaluated for structural damage.
Until repairs are made, the ambulance service will operate out of a nearby firehouse.
