Newly released video shows Paterson police using a mix of technology and traditional police work to track down a group of suspected car burglars.

The Paterson Police Department posted video showing officers racing through the city in search of multiple suspects accused of burglarizing vehicles. The footage highlights both officers on the ground and the department's expanding use of drone technology.

The pursuit comes months after Paterson announced a major expansion of its drone program, which police say helps officers respond more quickly and monitor incidents from the air.

Police have not said how many suspects were taken into custody following the incident.
