Trenton Police responded to a report of a person struck by a vehicle along Route 129 northbound near Route 1's north entrance.

The victim was found in the roadway and transported to the Capital Health Regional Medical Center.

The person is listed in critical condition, according to the Trenton Police Department.

Detectives from the Trenton Police Fatal Crash Unit and the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
