A disturbing lewdness incident at a local sports complex has prompted Medford Township detectives to appeal to the public for help identifying a suspect.
The request follows an official "Attempt to Identify" alert issued by the police department regarding an encounter on Sunday, April 12.
According to police, dispatch received a lewdness complaint at approximately 1:23 p.m. Witnesses at the scene reported that an unidentified male intentionally exposed his genitals in front of juvenile females.
The incident took place during an active athletic event at Bob Bende Park, located at 293 Medford-Mt. Holly Road.
Investigating officers successfully obtained video footage of the incident from the park's surveillance systems. Detectives are currently reviewing the footage and have released images of the individual in hopes that a member of the public can identify him.
Chief of Police and Public Information Officer are urging anyone who recognizes the suspect, witnessed the encounter, or has any information related to the ongoing investigation to contact local authorities immediately.
