Jersey Mike’s replaces Chick-fil-A atop customer satisfaction ranking, study finds
Jersey Mike’s has been named the nation’s top-rated quick-service restaurant, ending Chick-fil-A’s 11-year run at the top of the American Customer Satisfaction Index rankings.
The ACSI Restaurant and Food Delivery Study 2026 gave Jersey Mike’s a customer satisfaction score of 84 out of 100 in its debut in the rankings. Chick-fil-A finished second at 83.
The study found overall customer satisfaction among quick-service restaurants remained unchanged at 79 for the third consecutive year, while full-service restaurants held steady at 82. Food delivery services improved 1% to a score of 75 for the second straight year.
Researchers said consumers are becoming more selective about where they spend their money, placing greater emphasis on consistency, reliability and perceived value as restaurant prices continue to rise.
Among full-service restaurants, LongHorn Steakhouse and Texas Roadhouse tied for the top spot with scores of 82, followed by Olive Garden at 81. Chili’s improved to 79 after seeing strong customer traffic throughout 2025.
In the quick-service sector, KFC improved 4% to 80, while Raising Cane’s debuted with a score of 79 and Wingstop entered at 77. Burger King and Culver’s shared the top score in the burger category at 78.
Among food delivery services, Uber Eats led with a score of 76, followed by Grubhub at 75 and DoorDash at 74.
The study was based on 16,464 surveys completed by customers selected at random between April 2025 and March 2026, according to ACSI.
