A Red Bank man is facing multiple charges after police say he entered a stranger’s home, walked into an upstairs bedroom and exposed himself to a child.

Officers were called to a Red Bank home shortly after 10 p.m. on Sept. 14 after a resident contacted police to report that an unknown person had entered the family’s home.

According to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, when police arrived, they found the homeowner on the front lawn restraining a man later identified as Ernesto Lozano-Zane, 23.

During the investigation, officers learned Lozano-Zane was naked from the waist down when he entered the house through an unlocked front door. He then went upstairs to a bedroom occupied by a juvenile, who alerted the rest of her family that he was there.

“Lozano-Zane’s clothing and other personal items were later found in another bedroom of the home,” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

Lozano-Zane was charged with lewdness, burglary and endangering the welfare of a child.
