A fire broke out Thursday afternoon at the Freehold Raceway Mall.

Freehold firefighters were dispatched to the scene following multiple calls of a fire on the third floor of a department store.

Additional support was requested due to the size of the incident and the commercial setting. EMS teams also responded and assisted at the scene.

EMS personnel operated on the scene for over an hour. No injuries were reported.
