One of New Jersey’s biggest fall traditions returns Saturday as the Far Hills Race Meeting celebrates its 105th year at Moorland Farm.

The event draws thousands for steeplechase racing, elaborate tailgates and fashion.

Beyond the festivities, the race meeting has raised more than $22 million to support local health care organizations.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, with gates opening at 8 a.m. Races will take place rain or shine.
