A fire broke out Saturday afternoon at 51 E. South Orange Ave. in South Orange, prompting a response from local and mutual aid fire departments.

In a statement from Mayor Sheena Collum, residents were urged to stay clear of the affected area as emergency crews work.

Video from the scene appeared to show a woman communicating with fire personnel out her window inside a smoky apartment.

South Orange Avenue is closed between Sloan Street and Scotland Road until further notice.

Authorities have not yet released details on the cause.

Officials say no injuries have been reported, and all responding personnel have been accounted for.
