A bullet was discovered in the overhead bin of a plane that was set to depart Newark Liberty International Airport and head to Miami Tuesday. According to a spokesperson for United Airlines, the bullet was discovered prior to the flight's departure. Security officers boarded United Flight 1511 at the terminal and conducted a security sweep of the plane. "Security personnel cleared the aircraft, which later departed for Miami," United said in a statement, directing further inquiries to the Transportation Security Administration.
