Three men are facing charges following an online child exploitation sting conducted by state police.

Undercover officers posed as minors online to identify people seeking illegal sexual contact with children, according to state police.

Among those arrested were a Pine Bush man, a Liberty man and a man from New Jersey.

Leroy Bruyn, 54, of Pine Bush was charged with three counts of attempted second-degree rape and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.

Bruyn was arraigned in Orange County and remanded to the Orange County Jail. Bail was set at $15,000 cash, $30,000 bond or a $60,000 partially secured bond.

Stephane Pontoizeau, 39, of Mendham, New Jersey, was charged with attempted second-degree rape and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.

Pontoizeau was arraigned in Middletown and released on his own recognizance.

Ramon Josue Lopez-Moreno, 31, of Liberty, was charged with attempted endangering the welfare of a child.

Lopez-Moreno was issued an appearance ticket for Port Jervis City Court.

The operation was conducted with assistance from Port Jervis police, the Orange County Sheriff's Office and other local, state and federal agencies.
