Mayor W. Reed Gusciora and Interim Director of Public Works Hector Weah announced the launch of a citywide pothole repair initiative Friday in Trenton.
The comprehensive plan will address roadway damage caused by winter storms and repeated freeze-thaw cycles, according to a press release.
Officials say crews will be deployed to major roadways, residential streets and high-traffic corridors.
“This initiative ensures we respond quickly and efficiently to roadway damage across Trenton and address the impacts of recent severe weather,” said Gusciora.
The work will be prioritized based on factors such as safety concerns, traffic volume and resident reports.
“We encourage residents to report potholes so we can better identify problem areas and improve response times,” said Weah.
Residents can report potholes by calling 609-989-3200.
