A golfer from Bergen County is ending the year on a high note after being named the PGA Tour's player of the year.

Scottie Scheffler, who started playing in Montvale, has now won the honor four years in a row. He and Tiger Woods are the only golfers to achieve that record.

Scheffler also claimed two major trophies this year. He won the PGA Championship in May and then an Open title in Ireland two months later.

Scheffler now has four major wins on his resume.
