Airports in the region on Thursday faced new limits on media access after the Port Authority banned filming inside terminals.

Reporters had previously been allowed to record video in public areas.

The agency said media must now request that airlines show check‑in lines if coverage requires visuals.

Officials also said they are limiting when the press can request access, citing the volume of inquiries.
