A popular Bergen County restaurant that was destroyed by a fire earlier this year is preparing to reopen in a new location.
Lefkes, the Greek restaurant that operated on Sylvan Avenue in Englewood Cliffs, announced it will hold the grand opening of its new Fort Lee location on Oct. 9.
The restaurant's original location was destroyed by a fire in June. No injuries were reported, but the building was considered a total loss.
Lefkes is relocating to 200 Park Ave. in Fort Lee, taking over the space formerly occupied by Ventanas at The Modern.
