Like most young pups, Troop is full of energy and affection. Now, he's just hoping for a family that's just as enthusiastic and will provide him with a "furever home."
At just 6 months old, Troop is considered a medium-sized hound-terrier mix and is currently a resident of Jersey Shore Animal Center in Brick Township. According to the shelter, Troop is part of their outreach program, where they take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding families.
Troop knows some basic commands such as "sit" and "stay" and he does well walking on a leash. Shelter volunteers say his ideal family is one that can "keep up with his zest for life." Troop would also love a fenced-in yard son he can do all his zoomies, as well as a family that will be committed to continuing his training.
Troop loves playtime, other dogs, getting lots of attention and being affectionate. He's also neutered and fully vaccinated.
