When most college students talk about spring break they go to Florida, Mexico and Texas. But a group of college students went somewhere a little different.

Geology students in Rowan's School of Earth and Environment went to Death Valley, California.

This unique location was the perfect place to study the areas mountains and desert floor.

They camped and immersed themselves in this harsh environment to further their knowledge for their future goals.

They described this experience as an inspiring trip to launch their careers.
