Roselle Police Officer Paul Davis received the prestigious Medal of Valor this week because his quick thinking helped save the lives of three people.
This is the department’s first officer to get the award in over 40 years.
Last October, Officer Davis was off duty but was the first on the scene to a rollover car crash on the parkway.
His quick thinking and swift actions led him to break the car window with his baton and pull three family members to safety.
