If you’re looking for heartwarming moments at the Jersey Shore this weekend, head to Long Branch, where the Best Day Foundation is once again giving children with special needs the opportunity to experience the joy of the ocean.

The organization’s beach events create unforgettable memories for both participants and volunteers.

Kids are encouraged to get in the water, ride boogie boards, splash through the surf and enjoy a day filled with fun, encouragement and support. Beyond the excitement, the experience helps build confidence, independence and self-esteem in a safe and welcoming environment. The Best Day Foundation hosts several beach days throughout the summer, living up to its mission of creating “the best day” for every child and family who attends. This weekend’s events will take place at Great Lawn Beach in Long Branch at 2 p.m. on Saturday and again on Sunday.
