A Gloucester County man has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography, according to officials.

According to case documents, prosecutors received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children last year that an individual was using social media to share illegal material.

Prosecutors say Jonathan A. Torres, 26, of Glassboro was arrested Tuesday after investigators executed a search warrant for his home and found several videos and one image depicting child sexual abuse material.

If convicted, Torres faces up to five years in state prison.
