Two people died after a crash involving a dirt bike on Route 40 in Atlantic City.

Officials say it happened Thursday night near Albany Avenue.

Authorities say a 20-year-old driver hit the back of the dirt bike.

The driver of the bike, from Galloway, and the passenger, from Egg Harbor, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the crash remains under investigation.
